Spinnt der, oder was? Nein, tut er nicht. Die Sache ist sehr einfach: Griechenland erlebt gerade die massivste Attacke des Kapitals in Europa. Und es zeigt, wie wir uns wehren müssen. Griechenland ist überall!
Das Kapital steckt in einer historischen Krise, aus der es weder mittels Konjunkturprogrammen noch durch eine weitere Einschnürung des Lebensstandards der breiten Masse wieder herausfinden wird. Die Energie- und Klimakrise, die ökonomisch-sozialen Verwertungsgrenzen und die Hungerkrise zeigen: dieses System hat keine Zukunft. Jeder Tag für das Kapital ist ein Tag zuviel. Freilich, der Wandel hin zu einer vernünftigen Gesellschaft der freien Übereinkunft – ohne Lohnarbeit, Markt, Kapital und Staat – wird sich über Jahrzehnte ziehen müssen. Beginnen wir nicht jetzt mit dem Aufbau von Alternativen und der Revolte gegen die Unerträglichkeit des Status Quo, wird sich Herrschaft in ein neues Schreckenssystem transformieren.
Die Griech_innen zeigen uns, dass man mit Rückgrat und dem Bewusstsein der eigenen Kraft gegen die Zumutungen des Kapitals und seiner Staaten aufstehen kann. Sie geben uns ein Beispiel für die notwendigen Reaktionen auf das, was auch in Österreich auf die Erwerbslosen und die Lohnabhängigen zukommt: ein Frontalangriff, dem unbedingt Paroli geboten und eine Alternative der Solidarischen Ökonomie entgegengestellt werden muss.
Die Solidaritätsaktionen für die griechischen Arbeiter_innen, Erwerbslosen, Studierenden etc. sind daher von größter Dringlichkeit. Hier ein Aufruf zur Teilnahme an der Aktion in Villach:

The European social movements in solidarity with the Greek workers.
On Wednesday, May 5th, will not just be a day of general strike in
Greece, but an international day in solidarity with Greek workers.
Already trade unions and social movements from around the world condemn the barbaric anti-labor measures that the IMF, EU and the government impose. As time passes and the debt crisis is spreading to Portugal and Spain, it is proved that what has been noted from the first moment by both the alterglobal movement and progressive economists: The Greek crisis is an integral part of the global crisis over accumulation and the bankruptcy of the neoliberal financial capitalism. The internationalist solidarity and the coalition of workers in Europe and the world are more necessary than ever.

page titled: „Can’t pay, Won’t pay: Solidarity with the people of Greece„. Already in the first hours there have been hundreds of messages of support from around the world.
On the 5th we are all in the streets – These measures will not be applied.
